Early in 2017, David decided he was going to let his hair grow long and do a sponsored head shave once it was long enough to sell the ponytail as well.
nearly 2 years later in December 2018, he finally went for the chop.
David managed to raise an impressive £1000 for the charity ‘Share a Star’ who send out ‘happy-boxes’ to disabled children and also send the families on daytrips..
It was during this head shave, that the mention of a sponsored walk was talked about….. the next few months were dedicated to the planning and organising of the 1 million step walk from France to the UK and the subsequent creation of Association Violet…..
